Entry-Level Engineer - TRATON R&D US, LLC

TRATON R&D brings together global engineering expertise across International, Scania, MAN, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus to develop sustainable transportation solutions. This entry-level engineering role supports work in connected services, powertrain, battery and charging, electrical engineering and software, vehicle engineering, materials engineering, and CAE/simulation.

What you'll do:

• Support the development of connected vehicle solutions, digital services, data-driven technologies, and future mobility innovations that enhance customer value and operational performance
• Contribute to the design, development, testing, and optimization of propulsion systems that power the next generation of commercial vehicles
• Support the advancement of electrification technologies, including battery systems, charging solutions, energy management, and sustainable transportation initiatives
• Participate in the development of vehicle electronics, embedded systems, software platforms, controls, connectivity, and emerging digital technologies
• Collaborate on shared technologies, systems, and engineering solutions that enable cross-brand innovation and support the TRATON Group's global product strategy
• Work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, global environment
• Contribute to projects that support innovation across International, Scania, MAN, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus brands

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States
