Entry Level Project Management – 2026 Internship Class

Miller Electric Company is a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction services. They are seeking an Entry Level Project Associate to begin a career in electrical project management, focusing on building client relationships and assisting with project documentation and management tasks.

What you'll do:

• Understand Miller Electric’s service-based approach to the electrical project management process
• Build long-term relationships with your clients and fellow employees by earning trust through diligent communication and a high-quality work ethic
• Learn the fundamentals of estimating on large projects and assist with the preparation of proposals for new business
• Assist with project documentation, productivity tracking, change orders and collections
• Work with your team to ensure the project is built following design, budget, and schedule
• Learn the basics of estimating on large projects
• Collaborate with your field leaders to confirm client expectations and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades
• Assess construction progress, team needs, and issues through regular project visits with your field supervision
• Work with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or IBEW licensed electrician
• Strong computer & Microsoft Suite skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to developing time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position
• Healthcare project management experience
• Experience working in the construction industry
• Familiar with computer-based estimating
• Understanding of billing and collections
