Entry-Level Software Developer - Application Support & Sustainment

The Enablement Center of Excellence Analytics Development team is seeking an entry-level Software Developer to join our team in supporting and sustaining existing applications across the Supply Chain. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with users, and ensuring applications remain stable, reliable, and continuously improved. The position focuses on triage, bug fixes, documentation, and enhancement of web-based solutions ranging from simple to moderately complex. Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role. ## What You Will Do - Create and maintain documentation to enable enterprise support staff to assist tool users effectively. - Collaborate with support teams to develop Tier 1 knowledge articles. - Work directly with users to identify root causes, troubleshooting issues, and deliver timely resolutions. - Diagnose, test, and implement fixes or enhancements for existing web applications. - Perform business analysis on system functionality and support the full development life cycle, from requirements through implementation. ## Qualifications You Must Have - Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience - Some experience in web application development ## Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with .NET Framework / MVC - Working knowledge of HTML and CSS - Experience with C# or Java - Basic understanding of SQL or MySQL - Exposure to the full Microsoft development stack ## Additional Skills We Value - Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset - Effective organizational and time-management skills - Clear and professional communication skills (oral and written) - Ability to produce accurate, maintainable documentation
