Move equipment, furniture, boxes, etc. and remove and hang blinds and curtains.%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cstrong%3EResponsibilities:%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cul style=%22margin:12px 0px;padding:revert;%22%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3EClean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment, following established procedures.%3C/li%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3ERemove trash from all assigned areas.%3C/li%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3EReplenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas to assure adequate supply.%3C/li%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3EMake beds, following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.%3C/li%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3EMove equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned.%3C/li%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3EInspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, report problems to the supervisor.%3C/li%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3EMaintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.%3C/li%3E%3Cli style=%22line-height:1.25;%22%3EFollow all safety and sanitation regulations.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E%3C/div%3E

High School Diploma or GED or currently enrolled in high school program preferred; 1 year previous job experience required in lieu of High school diploma/GED preferred or successful completion of the 5-week EVS training program. Work permit required if under 18 years old. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties. Ability to use housekeeping equipment. May in the course of duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.
