Equity Research Intern

ROTH Capital Partners is a relationship-driven investment bank focused on serving growth companies and their investors. They are looking for an Equity Research Intern responsible for research, client support, data collection, and statistical studies on industries and individual companies.

What you'll do:

• Search, collect, consolidate and interpret company and industry data
• Develop and maintain financial models, market monitoring systems, and databases
• Prepare portions or more of research reports, notes and briefs
• Communicate and handle information requests
• Provide administrative support as required
• Financial modeling: input data into proprietary financial models to create charts, dashboards and supporting material
• Other responsibilities as assigned

• This position is in office, must be able to work from our Newport Beach, CA office
• This is a post-grad internship
• Excellent analytical skills and understanding of relevant financial and accounting techniques
• Ability to express ideas effectively and fluently
• Ability to write clearly, concisely with speed and precision. Fast learner
• Knowledge of spreadsheets, presentation software and the Internet. Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and software applications
• Self-motivated, organized, strong attention to detail, and willing to work within a flexible schedule
