Posting Description
EVENTS & OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE, J-PAL North America, works closely with the policy, research & training teams to plan and execute a wide-variety of inclusive in-person, hybrid and virtual events, meetings, and training programs aimed at promoting the production and use of rigorous evidence. Also plans and executes internal staff meetings and events and supports some office operations; provides input into the development of event strategy and provides outreach and support for marketing activities associated with events. Primary tasks involve event planning and logistics management, event analysis, reporting and systems maintenance.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: A bachelor degree or equivalent and two years of event planning experience; strong project management and organizational skills; attention to detail; clear and persuasive verbal and written communication skills; ability to delegate and collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders at all levels; ability to respond to problems, issues, and opportunities independently and collaborate as needed to identify a solution or response; and proficient in Zoom, Salesforce, Asana, Google Drive and/or able to quickly learn new technologies.
