About this role
Essential Job Functions
- Directs staff in expediting export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections
- Maintain awareness of customer needs to develop compliance recommendations and decisions and opportunities for enhanced services.
- Manages marketing of export services and growth of the procurement segment of the business.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Arranges shipping details such as export licenses, customs declarations, and packing and routing product
- Expedites importexport arrangements and maintains current information on importexport tariffs, licenses, and restrictions
- Effectively manages difficult customer situations
Other Skills & Abilities
- Ability to be a teamplayer and work effectively with seniorlevel staff.
- Ability to communicate at all levels, be proactive and be able to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficient at MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized.
- Strong desire to work in a fast paced environment while providing inspiration to a growing team.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in International Business Administration, Finance or Economics, is required.
- 5 or more years of procurement experience.
- 5 or more years of supervisory or management experience
Physical Requirements
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
