Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the operation of all equipment in a 400,000 sq foot climate-controlled manufacturing center.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of all production and plant equipment. 
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, blowers, and lighting fixtures.  Installs power supply wiring and conduit for new and existing machinery. 
• Plan, lay out and install a variety of complicated plant or production machinery  
• Assist Director of Facilities, Facilities / Maintenance Lead, Mechanics, and Electricians, as assigned or directed in making general repairs, new installations, and troubleshooting   
• Responsibilities also include assisting mechanics / electricians with general maintenance activities on special projects. 
• Availability for emergency call-in on weekends and after hours for production or plant related emergencies.
• Follows prescribed safety regulations and procedures. Maintains area and equipment in an orderly manner, reporting unusual conditions to proper supervision.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Experience:

• Hands on experience with facilities maintenance, especially manufacturing
• Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience a plus
