Fall 2026/Spring 2026 - Cybersecurity Awareness Intern - 90413075 - Washington

Amtrak connects businesses and communities across the country through its passenger railroad operations and emphasizes safety, security, customer focus, and collaboration. The Cybersecurity Awareness Intern will support cybersecurity education and awareness initiatives through data analysis, documentation, reporting, presentation development, and project coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to create, manage, and present business information
• Gather, review, and analyze complex data and documentation to develop reports, executive summaries, and business requirements
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to collect input, align priorities, and ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables
• Read, interpret, and synthesize large volumes of information quickly and accurately to support business decisions and recommendations
• Organize and communicate findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner for diverse audiences, including leadership and business partners
• Support strategic and operational initiatives by researching, documenting, and tracking requirements and outcomes

What they're looking for:

• Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution
• Must be actively pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Must have at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies completed or a sophomore status at minimum
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
• MS Office Proficiency
