Fall 2026/Spring 2027 - Product Strategy and Operations Intern - 90413027 - Washington

Amtrak connects businesses and communities across the United States through passenger rail service and is committed to safety, customer focus, and collaboration. The Product Strategy and Operations Intern provides analytical, operational, and strategic support across Product Management, Experience Design, and Digital Technology, helping improve product planning, discovery, and delivery. The role also supports product frameworks, portfolio planning, cross-functional alignment, and best-practice tooling.

What you'll do:

• Conduct research and analysis as a power user in Excel, Microsoft suite, and leverage AI tooling where appropriate
• Support cross-organization partnership to ensure alignment and meeting commitments
• Support development of product competencies, frameworks, and learning resources
• Maintains core product assets (templates, playbooks, tools, and sites) to ensure consistency, clarity, and improve product planning, discovery, and delivery
• Manage and maintain best ‑ practice tooling usage

What they're looking for:

• Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution
• Must be actively pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields
• Must have at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies completed or a sophomore status at minimum
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
• Proven ability to operate with urgency and adaptability in a fast ‑ paced , matrixed organization with shifting priorities
• Power user in Excel, analytics and AI tools
