About this role
Flint Hills Resources is an industry-leading refining company that develops and delivers energy and transportation products. The Product Analyst Co-Op will support IT product teams by configuring technology, gathering requirements, testing releases, coordinating project deliverables, and recommending product enhancements to optimize business processes.
What you'll do:
- Partner with Product Owners and the business to configure technology which enables work processes
- Ensures quality of product releases and deliverables through execution of risk mitigation strategies, including creation of test automation scripts, creation and execution of test cases, and regression testing
- Coordinate with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing
- Partner with the business to capture, analyze, and document functional requirements to provide to other IT capabilities
- Coordinate the execution of project deliverables by other IT capabilities to help ensure projects are delivered on time
- Recommend enhancements to products to optimize work processes
- Continue to quickly learn new systems and products based on business needs
- Work on a team to execute project deliverables

- Currently enrolled in a degreeprogram related to one of the following areas: Management Information Systems, Computer Science,Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics,or arelatedtechnicalfield
- Initiative, natural curiosity,strong communicationskills, and an aptitude for fast-paced learning
- Currentlyresidingin Wichita,KSor the surrounding area
- Eligible for full-time employment byJuly2028
- Demonstrated interest in or experimentation with AI or generative tools (coursework, class projects, personal projects, hackathons, or hands-on use of AI assistants/LLMs)
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
- Prior experience in IT or a related field
- Familiarity, entry level experience, or projects related to using query languages (SQL, VQL, or Cypher) to extract, analyze and test data quality
