Due to the available budget allocated for this position, the hiring rate will not exceed $22.79 per hour.

Why does the job exist?

 

The Family Assistance Analyst will:

  • Process complex eligibility determinations for multiple income support programs and provide employment assistance to a diverse population.

How does it get done?

 

The Family Assistance Analyst is responsible for:

  • Providing case management in compliance with federal and state regulations, performance measures, and mandated timeliness;
  • Coordinating client utilization of multiple public assistance programs which, on occasion, contain conflicting eligibility criteria.

Who are the customers?

 
  • Income Support Division (ISD) clients and management.

Ideal Candidate

 

The Ideal Candidate has experience:

  • Providing eligibility determination and interviewing clients assessing income potential based on language, vocational skills, education level, training needs and employment history.

Minimum Qualification

 
High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years experience in eligibility determination/interviewing, clerical work, customer service, and/or data entry. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Employment Requirements

 
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Must obtain a Defensive Driving certification.

Working Conditions

 
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
