Field Engineer Intern

Boldt is a construction company that provides hands-on internship opportunities supported by experienced mentors and project teams. The Field Engineer Intern will support active construction projects by coordinating project information, tracking field progress, monitoring subcontractor compliance, supporting schedules, and verifying construction activities against contract documents, drawings, specifications, and codes.

What you'll do:

• As a Field Engineer Intern, you'll support active construction projects by coordinating project information, tracking field progress, and working closely with project teams and subcontractors. You'll help monitor subcontractor compliance with Boldt safety protocols and applicable regulations, coordinate work to support project schedules, and verify that construction activities align with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and codes

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university as a Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program. Preferred majors/concentrations in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields
• Passion and desire to work in the construction industry
• Strong communication skills, including a willingness and comfortability to create and maintain relationships by means of cold and warm phone calls
• Goal oriented, with a focus on personal development
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ability to work optimally with minimum supervision
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
• Evidence of high academic achievement with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred
• Prior work experience, internship preferred but not required
