Field Engineer Intern

Cadence McShane Construction Company provides construction services across commercial, multi-family, industrial, and institutional projects. The Field Engineer Intern will work full-time at an assigned jobsite, assisting with trade coordination, inspections, progress monitoring, municipal communications, and project punch-list completion.

What you'll do:

• Assist with coordinating the efforts of multiple trades
• Participate in project inspections and complete daily reports
• Monitor progress of work and notify Superintendent of any delays
• Assist with communication and coordination with municipal officials
• Assist with project punch-list and oversee completion of all project disciplines

• Ability to use construction management software such as Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID
• Ability to use the internet and Microsoft Office 365
• Seasonal full-time, in-person role at assigned jobsite
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required
• Authorization to work in the U.S. required
• Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred
