Finance/Accounting Intern

They are looking for a motivated Accounting Intern to join their Finance team, where the intern will support accounting operations while exploring how technology and AI can improve efficiency.

What you'll do:

• Analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to improve processes
• Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline recurring workflows, including reconciliations, reporting, and journal entry preparation
• Support fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, reconciliation accuracy, month-end close activities, and other accounting projects
• Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to document, optimize, and improve operational workflows

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
• Passionate about combining accounting, data analytics, and technology to solve business challenges
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfortable working with large data sets
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus
