Finance and Accounting Intern

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is an amusement park and hospitality company seeking a Finance and Accounting Intern to support its Shared Accounting Services team. The intern will assist the Revenue Accounting team with revenue processing, financial reporting, vendor payments, and balance sheet reconciliations.

What you'll do:

• Develop hands-on experience with the daily revenue accounting process, including importing, reviewing, and validating data between point-of-sale systems and accounting platforms
• Collect, organize, and record revenue activity from non-integrated sources to support accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist with compiling, calculating, and preparing payments to third-party vendors in accordance with revenue share agreements
• Support the reconciliation of assigned revenue-related balance sheet accounts by reviewing activity, identifying discrepancies, and assisting with resolution

• Ideal candidates will commit to a minimum of thirteen (13) weeks in an Intern/seasonal position
• Dynamic and enthusiastic applicants currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program in accounting, finance, business management or applicable related studies
• Preferred candidates should be currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program to join the team
