Finance Intern

Turnberry is seeking a Finance Intern to support financial operations and analysis related to real estate assets and leasing portfolios. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, analyzing market trends, maintaining financial models, and collaborating with finance and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to real estate assets and leasing activities
• Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial planning
• Conduct market research and analyze real estate trends to provide insights that inform investment and leasing decisions
• Help maintain and update financial databases and models to track property performance and cash flow
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, leasing, and asset management to gather and verify financial data

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field
• Strong foundational knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous internship or coursework related to real estate finance or investment analysis
• Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, or ARGUS
• Understanding of real estate market dynamics and leasing processes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
