You are a self-starter with a strong ownership mindset who enjoys building scalable solutions, working with large datasets, and translating complex financial information into clear, actionable insights. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying process gaps, and partnering across functions to implement practical improvements.

The successful candidate is detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and passionate about leveraging automation, AI, and modern analytical tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and financial visibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Finance Process Improvement: Identify and drive initiatives to streamline financial processes, standardize workflows, and improve operational efficiency across AIG Strategic Finance.

  • Financial Reporting & Dashboards: Develop, maintain, and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and financial performance metrics supporting AIG leadership and CFO staff.

  • Financial Data Management: Consolidate financial information across multiple workstreams, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in reporting, forecasting, and management reviews.

  • Portfolio Reporting: Support consolidated reporting and analysis of strategic transactions, financial commitments, backstop arrangements, prepayments, and associated financial exposure.

  • Automation & Transformation: Lead initiatives to automate manual reporting and reconciliation processes, leveraging advanced Excel, AI-powered tools, and other technologies to improve scalability and reduce manual effort.

  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain financial models and analytical tools to support financial planning, exposure tracking, scenario analysis, and business performance evaluation.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Business Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other stakeholders to align data sources, financial assumptions, and reporting requirements.

  • Financial Controls & Governance: Develop and enhance processes, documentation, and controls to improve reporting accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.

  • Executive Reporting: Prepare financial analyses, presentations, and executive-ready materials that translate complex financial information into clear insights and business implications.

  • Continuous Improvement: Establish scalable reporting frameworks, operating cadences, and standardized processes to support the continued growth and complexity of AIG's business.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated experience in FP&A, finance operations, financial reporting, finance transformation, or related corporate finance roles

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including forecasting, scenario analysis, financial reporting, and business performance evaluation

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex financial models, large datasets, data reconciliation, and reporting automation

  • Experience developing financial dashboards, management reporting, and scalable reporting processes; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools is a plus

  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies within Finance

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear, executive-ready materials

  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders, and drive initiatives to completion in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

  • Semiconductor, technology, or other complex multinational business experience preferred
