Financial Accountant

Lauterbach & Amen is a CPA firm specializing in tax, accounting, auditing, and advisory services. The Accountant will support multiple clients and the Naperville office by performing general accounting, reporting, payroll, compliance, and client advisory activities, with local travel throughout the Chicagoland area.

What you'll do:

• Prepare general ledger entries
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with preparing financial statements
• Prepare government-required reports
• Advise clients on internal accounting matters
• Payroll processing
• Compliance reporting
• Daily client interactions by phone or e-mail

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study
• 1-3 years of general accounting experience required
• Previous accounting/cash receipt experience is a required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
• Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to communicated professionally and effectively with clients
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• CPA or actively pursuing a license preferred
