Financial Analysis/MBA Intern

First Realty Management is a family-owned property management company based in Boston, MA, with over 50 years in business. They are seeking a highly motivated MBA Intern to work with senior executives on financial modeling, acquisitions analysis, and strategic initiatives, focusing on optimizing current business operations and evaluating potential acquisitions.

What you'll do:

• Underwrite live opportunities across the portfolio: build DCF and LBO-style return analyses, size agency and bank debt, and pressure-test assumptions on potential asset purchases, M&A, capital projects, and new business lines
• Develop and maintain three-statement models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to evaluate performance, revenue opportunities, and capital allocation decisions. Analyze historical financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Essbase
• Streamline financial and operational workflows using AI tools, including building Claude agents to automate reporting, analysis, and recurring processes
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for senior leadership, and support investor relations and commercial banking initiatives, including investor communication and account openings

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing an MBA
• Excellent modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills; advanced Excel required
• Proficiency in financial modeling best practices, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis
• Familiarity with financial statement analysis, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies, including DCF and comparable analysis
• Interest in corporate finance, real estate investment, asset management, or growth strategy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter able to work independently and collaboratively
• Investment banking, private equity, real estate private equity, venture capital, or corporate finance
• Interest in and experience in building and using AI tools to streamline workflows
