Financial Analyst***Analyste financier

IPEX Management Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to oversee the financial governance of its capital project portfolio. The role is responsible for Capex planning, project feasibility analysis, financial reporting, performance dashboards, fixed-asset accounting, and partnering with project stakeholders to improve financial accuracy and governance.

What you'll do:

• Lead and support the annual Capex planning cycle, including budget development and long-term forecasting
• Conduct variance analysis and identify drivers impacting project performance
• Monitor project actuals vs. approved budgets and ensure cost-control processes are applied consistently
• Challenge project managers on cost forecasts and provide hands-on training and support to improve forecast accuracy
• Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and adherence to internal controls
• Support fixed-asset continuity schedules and GL reconciliations
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and asset owners to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with project scope
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project financial governance
• Apply strong knowledge of accounting standards to ensure accurate financial reporting of projects
• Perform NPV, IRR, payback, and full feasibility analysis for major capital projects
• Provide financial recommendations to support investment decisions and steer key projects
• Maintain financial models to assess ROI, scenario impacts, and long-term value creation

What they're looking for:

• • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• • 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, project finance, or capital project controlling
• • Strong business acumen with ability to evaluate project feasibility and challenge assumptions
• • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
• • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in fast-moving environments
• • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
• • CPA designation or actively pursuing CFA (preferred)
• • SAP S/4HANA experience is a plus
• • Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset
• • Power BI experience is a plus
