Financial Analyst

Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system with a culture and associate experience grounded in service, growth, care and connection. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to perform analysis and reporting on financial operations, assist with accounting and reporting activities, and provide decision support to management.

What you'll do:

• Perform analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information
• Perform statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sources
• Prepare reports based on findings, including health care costs, provider contracts, debt capacity, revenue and profitability
• Serve as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures
• Perform special projects and duties as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives
• Assist with all accounting, financial reporting, portfolio reporting and valuation activities

What they're looking for:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
• Accountant preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed
• Bachelors in a Finance/Accounting related field
• 1-3 years of experience
• Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace experience
