About this role
AST Defeasance is a boutique firm advising on commercial real estate finance transactions. The Financial Analyst will maintain financial data templates, organize closing documents, update deal-tracking systems, and respond to internal data and status requests.
What you'll do:
- Accurately populate standardized templates with financial data and keep them current as deals progress
- Gather and organize documents needed for transaction closings
- Assist with updating trackers, checklists, and internal databases as deals progress
- Respond to routine internal requests for data or status updates
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
- Effective time management and ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Strong writing skills
- 1-2 years' experience in real estate or finance
