Financial Analyst

Baer Insurance Services, Inc. is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to support their finance team. The role involves performing financial analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.

What you'll do:

• Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Review cost variances, identify trends, and provide basic analysis of financial results
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Enter, review, and extract financial data using SAP
• Support budgeting and forecasting by collecting data and performing variance analysis
• Maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation
• Work with internal departments to ensure financial data accuracy
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned

What they're looking for:

• Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and cost analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Financial analysis or accounting experience preferred
• Experience with SAP is preferred
