Financial Analyst

BJC HealthCare is a nonprofit health care organization serving communities through hospitals and health service locations. The Financial Analyst provides financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and evaluation of business opportunities, with a focus on clinical service line analysis and strategic financial planning.

What you'll do:

• Provides analysis of financial data, including clinical service line reporting, trend analysis, proformas, and forecasts, and the monitoring of key financial metrics
• Provides variance analysis of budget vs. actual results for assigned areas, providing explanations of the causes of any material variances
• Supports the development and analysis of operating and capital budgets, as assigned
• Conducts research and provides analysis for external business intelligence, as assigned
• Maintains and supports decision support databases, including updating cost allocations
