Financial Analyst

CleanSpark is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its FP&A team and provide reporting that leadership uses for business decisions. The role owns recurring close, P&L, and budget-vs-actual deliverables, performs financial analysis, and improves reporting processes in collaboration with Accounting, Energy, and business-unit leaders.

What you'll do:

• Execute monthly close and reporting cycles accurately, consistently, and on schedule
• Prepare and refresh monthly P&L packages at the consolidated and business-unit level
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for review
• Maintain the energy usage workbook and flag anomalies for the Energy and FP&A teams to investigate
• Prepare and monitor monthly budget-vs-actual reporting
• Analyze historical results and perform variance analysis to identify trends, explain key drivers, and recommend improvements
• Identify and drive process improvements, including building standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards
• Support ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities for financial performance improvement and automation
• Contribute to the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes
• Partner with finance personnel to understand cost drivers and inform business decisions
• Additional duties as assigned

• Willingness to support after-hours response or weekend work, if required
• Ability to operate on a computer for long period of time
