Financial Analyst

McKenney's, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to support company budgeting, financial reporting, business performance analysis, and management decision-making. The role develops budgets, pricing and revenue models, market analyses, and executive presentations while identifying reporting improvements and operational efficiencies.

What you'll do:

• Participate in the development of the company’s annual and mid-year budgets (both capital and operating budgets)
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate budget policies and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements as necessary
• Able to partner with and work effectively at all levels of the organization and within all areas of the company
• Construct models to identify sales leads and revenue-generating opportunities
• Support the development of targeted pricing strategy for customer segments
• Develop analytical acumen using a variety of tools such as SQL, Tableau, Smartsheet, MS Office, and Salesforce, while working on a variety of projects to enhance marketing efforts and pricing strategy. Distill key business insights from large data sets generated using these tools
• Partner and work effectively with all levels of the organization and within all departments across the company
• Continually seek out opportunities to improve reporting and gain operational efficiencies to reduce wasted effort and associated costs

What they're looking for:

• · Bachelor's degree in finance or related experience (accounting, industrial engineering)
• · 0-3 years of financial analysis and budgeting experience
• · Experience designing and formatting analyses for executive presentations
• · Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, competing priorities
• · High aptitude for learning and strong work ethic
• · Keen ability to analyze data and introduce new methods and tools for doing so
• · Able to rapidly absorb and assimilate technical information
