Financial Analyst

PFS is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the PFS Business Unit as a part of the Shared Services group.  Based in Allen, TX, the Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to the Financial Planning and Analysis team and will interact with local and remote personnel to provide analytical support.

The ideal candidate has an understanding of budgeting/forecasting and can actively engage in reporting and dashboards that help drive leadership decisions.  The Financial Analyst should have strong PC skills and proficiency with spreadsheet programs, such as MS Excel. The Financial Analyst must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized, concise manner. They must be able to work independently and have the ability to interact with coworkers and multiple levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly close cycle by preparing cost allocations and conducting variance analysis
• Ability to develop and assist with financial modeling
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to provide relevant insights
• Own Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reporting Cadences
• Perform other duties and ad hoc reporting as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting, required
• OneStream experience preferred
• 0-3+ years’ experience working in a financial role, preferably with experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis, required
• 2+ years experience Moderate to Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, required
• Visual Basic or SQL programming experience, preferred
