Financial Analyst

PLS Logistics Services is a logistics and transportation company seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst. The role focuses on analyzing pricing, revenue, margin, and other financial data; developing financial models and reports; identifying trends; and presenting actionable insights to support business and pricing decisions.

What you'll do:

• Analyze pricing, revenue, margin, and other financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Perform detailed quantitative analysis to support pricing and business decisions
• Review large datasets and translate complex numbers into clear, actionable insights
• Assist with developing and analyzing pricing models and financial reports
• Evaluate historical pricing and financial performance to help identify trends and opportunities
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial models, reports, and analytical tools
• Research and analyze market, customer, and operational data that impacts pricing and profitability
• Perform calculations and financial analysis to support business and pricing strategies
• Identify discrepancies, trends, and anomalies within financial and operational data
• Partner with internal teams to gather information, validate data, and support analytical projects
• Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner
• Take on ad hoc financial, pricing, and data-analysis projects as needed

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in **Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field**
• Recent college graduate or **0–2 years of professional experience** in finance, analytics, pricing, or a related field
• Strong mathematical and quantitative skills
• Highly analytical with a natural ability to work with numbers and data
• Advanced proficiency or strong working knowledge of **Microsoft Excel**
• Ability to analyze large amounts of information and identify meaningful trends
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and draw conclusions from data
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
