Financial Analyst

Wausau Supply Company is hiring a Financial Analyst to support manufacturing and corporate accounting, monthly reporting, cost and inventory analysis, and operational financial analysis. The role partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to improve financial visibility, support informed operating decisions, and oversee capital spending.

What you'll do:

• Monitor inventory cost and valuation accuracy, cost of goods sold, and inventory reserves
• Prepare inventory reconciliations and cycle count analysis
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to improve accuracy of bills of material
• Analyze material, labor, overhead, volume, mix, and purchase price variances
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and reduce manual processes
• Work with Accounting Manager to support month end and year end close activities
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provide analysis of balances
• Assist with capital spending oversight and audit results against project business cases
• Support external audit requests, internal controls activities, and other compliance related reporting needs
• Perform other related duties, analyses, and special projects as assigned

• Associate's accounting degree and appropriate experience will be considered
• Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and other digital tools required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• ERP system experience preferred
• Infor M3 a plus
• Experience in Sage fixed asset software a plus
