Financial Analyst - FP&A

Cumberland Farms is a convenience retailer seeking a Financial Analyst to support its core FP&A team. The role assists with weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial deliverables, including forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis while collaborating with business leaders and department stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
• Financial modeling and report building
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Account analysis and invoice gathering for ad hoc business inquiries
• Assist in the preparation of Board of Directors presentations
• Ad-hoc financial analysis based on the needs of the business

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years in a corporate finance or FP&A role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Expertise in financial modeling
• Ability to communicate effectively with operations partners
• Curiosity to understand root causes of business issues
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
• Ability to proactively identify and analyze business issues and opportunities and recommend future actions
• Ability to self-motivate
