Financial Analyst Internship- Rolling Stock (Summer 2027)

Siemens develops innovative rail technology and transportation solutions, including rolling stock and related rail systems. The Financial Analyst Intern will support the Finance Department by managing commercial and financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, contract compliance, procurement, and cost control.

What you'll do:

• Work closely with Project Management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accurate project funding
• Coordinate with Legal for contract reviews and compliance, minimizing legal risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Engage with Procurement teams to negotiate with vendors and manage purchase orders effectively controlling project costs
• Align with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to ensure planning, execution, and commercial terms support company goals

What they're looking for:

• • Education / Majors: Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited college or university and majoring in bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or business-related degree
• • with strong technical or analytical aptitude
• • Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August
• • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
• • Demonstrated leadership potential
• • Strong analytical, writing, presentation, and critical-thinking skills
• • Industry knowledge and/or interest
• • Prior internship or co-op experience (preferred)
