About this role
Reynolds Consumer Products is a consumer products company seeking a Financial Analyst - Operations to support the Tableware Division. The role focuses on financial analysis, reporting, month-end and year-end close activities, inventory and manufacturing cost processes, systems integration, and cross-functional process improvements.
What you'll do:
- Analyze P&L and balance sheet activities as well as production controls and KPI’s
- Prepare and interpret account reconciliations
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis
- Support month-end and year-end close activities related to project related work
- Maintain robust data integrity, process controls, and documentation for all P&L and inventory processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, FP&A, and IT to understand key components on systems integration
- Identify and implement reporting, analysis, and workflow automation improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What they're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
- 0-2 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably supporting manufacturing operations
- Accounting: Ability to interpret balance sheet and P&L statements, account reconciliations, bank statements
- Project Management: Experience in tracking project cost and variance analysis
- Inventory accounting and manufacturing close processes
- Intermediate Excel proficiency, including complex formulas and pivot tables
- Proven ability to drive process improvements by:
- Streamlining financial and operational reporting
- Enhancing inventory accuracy and close efficiency
- Automating manual tasks and reinforcing internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, or similar), with a strong preference for SAP-based environments
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
