Financial Analyst – QCT OpEx Finance

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Financial Analyst for QCT OpEx Finance. The role supports R&D headcount and expense management through forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, presentations, and process improvement across multiple business units.

What you'll do:

• The position will be responsible for the consolidation of R&D actuals and forecasts by project and group, as well as the allocation of headcount and expense targets to groups and business units
• Monthly and quarterly responsibilities will include variance analysis, financial reporting, and management-level presentations
• Other duties include performing ad hoc analysis and proactively improving business processes that impact finance

What they're looking for:

• This position is NOT eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ year of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience
• Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master's = one year) of work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
• 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience
• Ideal candidate will have prior work experience in the wireless/telecommunications industry
• Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
• Tableau and Cognos TM1 (or similar) experience is preferred
• Proficient use of the following: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Analytical Tools and frameworks
