Financial Analyst, Senior

%3Cp%3E%3Cstrong%3EPurpose:%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3EConduct and document complex financial analysis projects. Provide functional advice or training to less experienced financial analysts. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement and allows remote work up to 50% of the time, subject to departmental needs and manager approval.%3Cbr%3E%3Cbr%3E%3Cstrong%3EResponsibilities:%3C/strong%3E%3Cbr%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3ERecord, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDevelop financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPerform complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data reported.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAct as a mentor for Financial Analysts or administrative staff.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAnalyze complex financial data and extract and define relevant information; interpret data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EInterpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPlan and conduct complex studies to determine cost of business activities. Recommend budget adjustments, and other cost improvement measures.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business field required.
• Minimum of three years of related work experience required.
• OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of related work experience.
• Microsoft Office spreadsheet application required, and PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
• Experience in the use of Power Bi a plus
  
  Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  CPA/MBA preferred.
