Financial Planning and Analysis Intern

Planview is a global leader in Strategic Portfolio Management, helping organizations connect strategy, investments, resources, and execution through actionable intelligence and enterprise AI. The Financial Planning and Analysis Intern will support strategic planning, M&A, financial planning, capital-raising activities, corporate initiatives, process automation, and data integration.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with senior management to define and execute the company’s strategic vision
• Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
• Develop and maintain long-term financial models to support strategic planning
• Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities
• Perform due diligence, including financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment
• Manage deal negotiations, structuring, and integration processes
• Support the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning
• Analyze financial performance, including variance analysis, and provide actionable insights
• Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership
• Assist in capital raising efforts, including equity and debt financing
• Maintain relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and other financial institutions
• Evaluate and recommend optimal capital structures to support business objectives

What they're looking for:

• These roles are open to students currently enrolled in an accredited University or college program, with a preference for students in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or recent graduates
• Candidates must be available to work from our Austin office for the duration of the internship
