Financial Planning and Analysis Internship

Delaware North is a global hospitality and entertainment company offering an internship opportunity in Buffalo, New York. The Financial Planning and Analysis Intern will support the finance team with weekly reporting, forecasting, financial planning applications, and reporting processes while developing practical experience in accounting and financial analysis.

What you'll do:

• Assist the Sportservice FP&A team with weekly reporting tasks such as Flash, Per Cap, Overtime, and AR
• Gain a base understanding of financial technologies and planning applications
• Learn the end-to-end planning and reporting cycle
• Learn base financial reporting processes and value drivers
• Support planning leads on forecasting tasks
• Will become familiar with and assist numerous Sportservice Units across the company with financial plans and reports
• Will become familiar with the monthly accounting cycle
• Will utilize Microsoft Excel heavily

What they're looking for:

• Must be a current student in finance or accounting from an undergraduate or graduate degree program
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
