Financial Planning Intern Spring 2027

BMW Group is dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment for students. The Financial Planning Intern will engage in various financial responsibilities, including budget reporting, project evaluations, and supporting project management activities.

What you'll do:

• Weekly/Monthly Budget Reporting
• Financial Project Evaluations
• Weekly/Monthly Management Budget Presentations
• Review Consumable Reporting on a Weekly Basis
• Time Studies and Headcount Evaluations
• Identify Financial Process Improvements
• Forecast Tool Creation
• Financial Status Tool Creation
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
• Conduct research and conceptualize new ideas
• Support project management and coordination of plans for related projects
• Coordinate and support focused, community-based events and initiatives

What they're looking for:

• Business/Finance/Accounting Major
• Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint)
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
• Good organization and project management skills
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
• Good communication and presentation skills in English and preferably German
