Financial Risk & Governance Intern [2027 Internship Program]

The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is a financial market infrastructure organization that supports clearing and settlement processes. The Financial Risk & Governance Intern will support financial risk monitoring, analysis, reporting, documentation, and governance activities related to market, liquidity, and stress testing risks.

What you'll do:

• Support day-to-day risk monitoring activities, including reviewing changes in margin requirements, collateral needs, liquidity usage, and trading activity across member firms
• Assist with analysis of member activity and trading patterns to help identify trends, emerging risks, or items that may require additional review
• Develop an understanding of clients’ business and risk profiles to help support risk-related inquiries, internal reporting, and clear communication with stakeholders
• Help prepare, review, or enhance documentation, reporting, and process materials that support strong governance, controls, and effective risk management
• Collaborate with team members and internal partners, including areas such as Quantitative Risk Management, Counterparty Credit Risk, and other risk teams, to learn how financial risk is managed across DTCC

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or any other related field
• Expected graduation date: Spring2028
• Minimum GPA: 3.2
• Authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship
