Front End Developer

Cohen Development Group is seeking an Entry Level Front End Developer to build user-facing web interfaces that help teams, clients, and stakeholders manage construction projects. The role involves translating designs into responsive, accessible web applications and collaborating with designers, developers, and project stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using modern front end technologies
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional, pixel-accurate code
• Collaborate with designers, back end developers, and project stakeholders to deliver features
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable front end code
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance across devices
• Debug and resolve front end issues and usability concerns
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality
• Integrate APIs and data sources to support dynamic application features
• Follow web accessibility standards and best practices
• Stay current with emerging front end tools, frameworks, and industry trends

What they're looking for:

• Entry-level experience in front end development or a related field
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with at least one modern framework or library such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors or utility frameworks such as Sass or Tailwind CSS
• Interest in or exposure to construction, real estate, or project management software
