About this role
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to support its strategic mission and goals through accessible, reliable web applications and technology solutions. The role participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle, collaborates within an agile cross-functional team, and provides technical support for production systems.
What you'll do:
- Perform all functions across the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support
- Participate in software programming initiatives to support new innovations and enhancements
- Code solutions in a modern technology stack with a component-based design, building with UX and maintainability in mind
- Write unit tests and join in code reviews
- Develop and conduct software system validation and testing
- Assist with the development of automated deployment and maintenance strategies
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues for our ecosystem of COTS and custom solutions
- Collaborate with and provide support to other internal teams to enhance our products and services and further our strategic goals
- Participate in stakeholder discussions to understand their needs and brainstorm solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Basic understanding of cloud fundamentals (e.g., compute, storage, deployment) in AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a willingness to incorporate them into your workflow
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in software development, including C#, .NET, and web fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
- Experience with relational databases (T-SQL or MS-SQL) and ORMs (Entity Framework)
- Experience with building or consuming APIs
- Hands-on project experience
- Exposure to content management systems (e.g., Optimizely, WordPress, Sitecore)
