FULL STACK DEVELOPER INTERN

Gesture is an e-commerce and delivery-technology company focused on creating products and services that transform how people connect and express appreciation. The Full Stack Engineer Intern will contribute to developing and maintaining full-stack applications, cloud-based solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and network features involving Deep Packet Inspection.

What you'll do:

• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust full-stack applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to technical specifications
• Be able to effectively complete tasks and check your work for accuracy
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Gain exposure to cloud functions, Firebase, and real-time database technologies
• Understanding of how GCP works
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cloud-based solutions
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable code deployment
• Assist in automating testing processes to guarantee the quality of the software
• Foster familiarity with Deep Packet Inspection technologies and their integration into network applications
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of features that leverage DPI for enhanced application performance
• Gain exposure to React and React Native for front-end development

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interest in full-stack development
• Proficiency or coursework in coding languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Eagerness to understand CI/CD processes
• Interest in DPI and its applications in network development
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Interest in Python is a plus
• Cloud platform experience (GCP or AWS) is a plus, including cloud functions, Firebase, and real-time database technologies
• Exposure or interest in front-end technologies such as React and React Native
