Full Stack Software Engineering Co-op (Applications) (Spring 2027)

LineVision is a grid-enhancing technology company that helps electric utilities deliver affordable, reliable power through grid intelligence. The Full Stack Software Engineering Co-op will develop and maintain cloud-hosted and on-premises applications across Python data pipelines and React/TypeScript web applications, integrating sensor data into actionable insights for utilities.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, test and maintain software applications and internal tools to support data health and application administration
• Integrate with internal and external APIs, cloud services, and relational databases
• Contribute to new system design and proof-of-concept exploration
• Become a valued member of a high-performing software engineering team by supporting team goals of continuous improvement and our culture of growth-mindset

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related degree
• Understanding of object-oriented and functional design principles, relational databases, distributed software design, and Agile methodologies for team software development
• Strong and disciplined approach to test-driven software development
• Initiative, creative problem-solving skills and team collaboration
• Javascript & Python (required)
• Experience working on web application front ends + RESTful API backends
• Cloud infrastructure; AWS (preferred), Azure and/or Google Cloud
• Typescript/SQL/React/Node (preferred)
• (Optionally) Math and science Python libraries like Pandas or NumPy
