Fund Accounting Internship

Standish Management, LLC provides specialized fund administration and consulting services to private equity fund managers and general partners. The Fund Accounting Intern will provide financial and administrative support to Associates and Fund Controllers, including data entry, filing, audit and tax support, systems conversions, report analysis, and special projects.

What you'll do:

• Data entry of financial and client information into recordkeeping system
• Responsible for maintaining and updating various filing systems
• Assist with providing support to audit and tax teams
• Other special projects as given by the Associates and Fund Controllers
• Assist teams with systems conversions and other special projects

What they're looking for:

• Knowledge of basic Accounting and Finance principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to multi- task and adhere to strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic
• Familiarity with QuickBooks (not required, is a plus)
