GE Vernova DCS BD internship – 2027

GE Vernova is an energy technology company focused on electrifying the world and helping decarbonize it. This internship supports the product management team by contributing to the strategic growth of the plant controls business and Advanced Software and Controls Lifecare portfolios through market research, business strategy development, revenue projections, and leadership presentations.

What you'll do:

• Perform market research to understand customer expectations
• Coordinate discussions across functional groups to uncover any gaps
• Develop revenue and growth projections based on market penetration
• Present scenarios in front of leadership for buy-in and approval
• Develop a business strategy for differentiation and market growth
• Conduct Voice of the Customer sessions so augment assumptions with real opinions

What they're looking for:

• Previous experience developing a basic business case
• Have basic understanding of market analysis
• Be comfortable with MS toolset, including powerpoint and excel
• Be comfortable presenting in front of small groups, including executives
• Current enrollment in undergrad or graduate degree
• **Must be willing to work out of the Longmont, CO facility for duration of role**
• You have a passion for business development and understanding commercial strategy
• You are someone who brings a positive attitude and can find opportunities where others cannot
