(General Hire) Software Engineer Intern (Trust and Safety-Engineering) - 2027 Summer

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for their Trust and Safety engineering team. The intern will collaborate with experts to design and implement technical solutions that support business requirements.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with Trust and Safety experts, machine learning engineers, and other cross-functional teams on delivering key results
• Design technical solutions with team members
• Implement technical solutions to support business requirements

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2027
• Prior experience working with languages like Go/Python/PHP/C++/C/Java
• Strong experience with Data Structures and Algorithms
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, projects, or coding competitions
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
