Georgia-Pacific Engineering Intern

Georgia-Pacific, a Koch company, is a manufacturer of building products, tissue, packaging, paper, cellulose, and related products. The Engineering Intern will support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance at the Halsey manufacturing facility, with a focus on compliance, safety, and health while gaining hands-on experience through significant projects.

What you'll do:

• Engineering Interns are likely in a manufacturing facility, to help support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, and quality assurance, with a large overarching focus on compliance, safety, and health
• At Koch, interns gain real-world, hands-on experience, with the opportunity to tackle significant projects, solve problems, and take ownership of their work
• Alongside your day-to-day role, the program offers an opportunity to learn more about Koch, our people, Principle Based Management, and all while growing your network

What they're looking for:

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to relocate per program requirements
• Enrolled and currently pursuing a degree in a Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Process Control, Manufacturing or related Engineering degree program
