What We Offer:

Novant Health Cancer Institute Elizabeth is looking for a compassionate, caring Advanced Practice Provider in our Charlotte market to provide care and perform selective medical services under the direction of practice physicians at our GI/HBP location and Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

 

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will assist surgical cases for GI/HPB cases with additional support with inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic duties.

 

The APP will be paired primarily to work with one full-time MD and a part-time MD who will also serve as the supervising physicians. Responsibilities will vary depending on surgical and clinic caseloads of the physicians but will primarily include prepping admissions & discharges, nursing triage, assisting in clinic, chart review, call rotation, surgical preparatory work and other duties surrounding patient care as needed. An RNFA is required for NP candidates.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: Graduate Degree, required. Masters, required.
  • Experience: Prior GI/HPB experience preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current NP or PA license in North Carolina, State BON/Med Board, current DEA registration, BLS; required. RNFA required for NP candidates. 
  • Additional Skills Required: 
    • Ability to complete generic or department specific competencies.
    • Ability to work with management teams and physicians.
    • Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
