About this role
Job Duties: Vice President, Trade Processing with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Lead a team by providing oversight of processes and performance for other individuals. Oversee multiple deliverables in a time-sensitive environment. Meet Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other performance and risk metrics as outlined by management. Collaborate with Corporate Loan teams in London and Bengaluru on initiatives supporting Global Markets. Monitor and review complex legal documents pertaining to the syndicated bank loan portfolio and risk management. Service a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral corporate bank debt facilities for essential risk management and control, which entails identifying and resolving processing issues for transactions executed by the Firm’s bankers and ensuring that loan data is effectively captured in internal systems. Work on regulatory reporting as it relates to the bank loans industry. Work with agent banks and transfer agents to resolve cash and position discrepancies. Communicate effectively on positions and activity with the firm’s external business counterparts, such as agent banks, clients and trading partners, and internal stakeholders such as the Business Groups, Middle Office, Strats, Legal, Tax, Controllers, Technology, etc.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Prior employment must include three (3) years of experience (with a Master’s) OR five (5) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) with: assessing the operational risks inherent in business, recognizing and acting upon the changing economic and market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, and the impact of the evolving technology landscape; interfacing with trading counterparties, including internal teams, clients & their custodians, and other financial institutions to properly handle escalations and flag high risk issues to management team; providing operational support to a trading desk of FX products; handling escalations and flagging high risk issues to management team; and applying industry initiatives and market trends in the FX market to improve processes and reduce risk.
