Golf Shop Desk Attendant

General Summary:

Golf Shop Attendant is the first point of contact in the Golf Shop.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Supervisor Responsibilities
   • None
2. Primary Duties
   • Assist Members with purchases and merchandise information.
   • Process payments and conduct daily opening and closing cashier duties.
   • Attend to Golf Shop email, respond to Member inquiries promptly and accurately.
   • Clean and maintain order in golf shop (displays, storage, and front counter).

Certification/Education and Experience:

1. Basic computer knowledge.
2. Retail and Customer Service experience preferred.

Working Condition:

1. Shift work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
2. Work is performed in a typical temperature-controlled clubhouse environment subject to typical noise and conditions.

Physical Requirements:

1. The person in this position constantly communicates with members, guests, colleagues, and managers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
3. Adjusting or moving objects up to 60 pounds in all directions.
4. Frequently positions self to complete assigned tasks.
